Job Title: Front Desk Executive

Location: Chevron, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a dedicated and professional Front Desk Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and clients.
  • This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for managing the front desk area, answering and directing phone calls, handling inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • The successful candidate will have a friendly and approachable demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle inquiries and provide accurate information to clients and visitors.
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring logbooks.
  • Issue visitor badges and manage visitor sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Schedule and manage appointments and meetings.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications.
  • Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update the company’s contact database.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • First Degree from a tertiary institution.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with scheduling and managing appointments.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 monthly.
