Job Title: Program Director
Location: Lagos
Overview
- The Program Director oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of The Foundation’s various programs. He ensures that programs align with the organisation’s mission and meet the needs of the target population. The Program Director also implements and evaluates The Foundation’s impact in select areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Design: Develop and refine programs that address the organisation’s mission.
- Implementation: Oversee the execution of programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and impact, and use the data to improve the program.
- Team Management: Lead program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Carry out environmental research to identify and evaluate the needs of beneficiaries.
- Build and maintain relationships with program partners and beneficiaries.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Public Health, International Development).
- Experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience in managing significant CSR budgets of big corporate players.
- Strong project management experience.
- Passion for social justice and community development.
