Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Description
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company as under the directive of the Head of Account.
- Analyze current and past trends of financial key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures of the business.
- Perform financial transactions: cash, transfer, POS, to be confirmed and ensure they are reconciled with actual sales
- Handle cashiers pick up as at when due for sales & banking reconciliation.
- Execute petty cash disbursement as approved by Management.
- Carry out cash banking and daily lodgment as directed by the Head of department
- Perform daily posting of the CIT on ICG.
- Treat all LPO, GRN, Invoices to ensure they are verified before payment.
- Processing of vendor payments to ensure they are promptly made as at when due.
- Monitoring of financial consumables โ Till rolls, scale rolls, POS paper, bags to ensure they are made available for trade.
- Follow up on the availability of lower denominations โ (change) to trade and are gotten promptly from the banks
- Participate in the periodic stock take/count with the store operations to ensure they are achieved
- Preparation and monitoring of performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of expected variance.
- Participate in preparation and continuous development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan budgetary control and Modeling tools.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
- Preparation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and yearly Financial reports.
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.
- Develop financial models and analysis to support business operational strategic initiatives.
- Prepares consolidated forecasts and budgets and analyzes trends in revenue expenses performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investments.
- Maintains and coordinates group/departmental completion of financial review templates and meetings.
- Complies with federal, state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising Management on needed actions.
- Development of costing template and costing of production units.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Account

Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND, Master’s Degree, BSc in relevant fields with 3 – 8 years work experience.
Salary
N80,000 – N150,000 monthly.
