We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title:ย Accounts Assistant – Payable
Location:ย Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Purpose of the Job
- To provide support in processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring adherence to established payables procedures and timelines.
The Job
- To process vendor invoices in line with approved guidelines and timelines.
- To perform regular reconciliations of vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Toย assistย in the processing and validation of intercompany invoices, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- To ensure proper documentation and storage of all processed invoices for audit readiness.
- To support month-end closing activities by providingย accurateย payable data and reports.
- To support the preparation of payment schedules and ensureย timelyย settlement of approved invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of OND in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional Certificationย e.g, ICAN, ACCA student Membership will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimumย of 2ย years’ experienceย in an Accounts Payable or similar Finance role.
- Proficiencyย in Microsoft Excel at the minimum basic level.
The Person Must:
- Good communicationย and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiencyย in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
