Job Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team in the fast-paced FMCG industry.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the company’s production and distribution of Products.
- The Administrative Officer will play a key role in coordinating activities across departments, handling office tasks, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, including managing office supplies, organizing records, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory, shipments, and waste management. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR functions. Ensure that employee queries related to administrative issues are handled efficiently.
- Support the Operations Manager in implementing and streamlining operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and offering solutions to improve efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints related to administrative and product delivery matters, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
- Creation and updating of office policies and procedures to enhance productivity
- Supervise office security guards and cleaners
- Act as the liaison between departments, communicating information regarding schedules, meetings, and tasks to ensure all operations are running smoothly.
- Ensure that all administrative activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards within the office and production areas.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with office management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Candidates must be residents of Ibeju-Lekki or its immediate surroundings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
