We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location:ย Lagos
Responsibilities
- Follow the journey plan developed by the Regional Sales Manager and report weekly.
- Create and monitor a Journey Plan for Territory Sales Managers.
- Ensure the availability of products across all States in the region.
- Liaise with Key Distributors within your region on a weekly basis.
- Visit Key Distributors in your state daily to show business support.
- Visit and liaise with Sub-Distributors & Wholesalers in the region.
- Grow wholesalers to sub-distributors and grow sub-distributors to key distributors.
- Ensure products are well displayed. Review and scrutinize pictures from the field.
- Ensure stock depletion from Key Distributors to Sub-Distributors daily.
- Ensure stock distribution across all the major markets in the region.
- Recruit new Sub-Distributors in smaller markets and towns.
- Recruit new Key Distributors in states where there is no KD.
- Set and monitor weekly and monthly objectives for TSMs.
- Ensure stock balances are accurately captured by merchandisers and TSMs.
- Ensure the entire product range is represented across all distributorsโ outlets.
- Ensure strong visibility in every state within the region.
- Training and supervision of Territory Sales Managers and Merchandisers.
- Ensure distributor pricing is within the MSRP range. No under/over-pricing.
- Accompany TSMs on Key Distributor visits.
- Constant communication with Nthe ational Sales Manager to stay on top of objectives.
- Verify Merchandiser and TSM daily activity.
Requirements
- BSc / HND in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational and leadership ability.
Salary
N320,000 – N400,000 monthly gross.
