Job Title: Barbecue Man
Location: Apo Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
Food preparation:
- Cutting, washing, and peeling meats and vegetables.
- Preparing food according to recipes and methods.
Cooking:
- Grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods.
- Regulating the temperature of grills, broilers, and roasters.
Food quality:
- Ensuring food is cooked to the correct temperature and quality.
- Tasting and evaluating food before serving.
Food safety:
- Following food health and safety guidelines. Ensuring food is stored and rotated properly. Disposing of expired or near-expired food.
Work area:
- Keeping the work area clean and sanitary.
- Cleaning and sanitizing grilling and broiling equipment after use.
Communication:
- Communicating with the head chef and wait staff. Working as a team player.
Maintenance:
- Performing preventative and general maintenance on grilling equipment.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
