Job Description
- We are seeking a creative and strategic Branding and Communications Manager to join our prestigious law firm in Nigeria.
- The Branding and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the firm’s brand identity, reputation, and visibility in the legal industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, communications, and brand management, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive branding and communications strategy to elevate the firm’s profile and reputation.
- Manage the firm’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, including digital platforms, print materials, and client interactions.
- Create and oversee the production of high-quality content, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, and website content.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and manage the firm’s public image.
- Plan and execute events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives to showcase the firm’s expertise and strengthen client relationships.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of branding and communication efforts, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve measurable results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including lawyers and senior management, to align branding and communication initiatives with the firm’s business goals.
- Manage crisis communication and reputation management, ensuring timely and effective responses to sensitive issues.
- Oversee the firm’s digital presence, including website management, SEO, and social media strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the communications team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in branding, communications, or marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful branding and communication strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Strong media relations and public relations expertise.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian legal industry and business environment is a plus.
