Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to provide analytical support to the Head of Business.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to the Head of Business.
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to organize and visualize data effectively.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Executive Support:
- Work closely with the Head of Businessto understand their analytical needs and priorities.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of data to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports based on data analysis findings.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, including agendas, presentations, and reports.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights from various sources.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with the Head of Businessand other executives to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
- Foster positive working relationships with team members and external contacts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data quality and integrity.
- Proactively seek feedback to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of analytical insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
