ABNL Limited was incorporated in 1992 as an Oil and Gas servicing company with a vision to provide professional engineering and technical services to the Oil and Gas exploration and production companies in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. Since its incorporation, the company has grown in leaps and bounds, expanding its business horizon, but still within the Oil and Gas sector.

ABNL is a 100% owned indigenous firm, with a shareholding in excess of 100 million Naira. Its’ directors are individuals of proven integrity, who over the years have acquired the requisite experience in the Oil and Gas business, as well as in the banking and finance sector. The integrity of the directors and the staff of the company have been a priceless contributive factor in the growth and wellbeing of the company.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • Reporting directly to the procurement director, the individual manages procurement business development for the company.
  • She will implement and maintain procurement processes and business initiatives, including sourcing potential vendors, evaluating vendor capabilities, tender process management, and ensuring satisfactory delivery of services.

  • Develop top-notch marketing and business strategies to enhance the company’s potential.
  • Identify medium and long-term business opportunities for the company, through networking, cold calls, and other lead-generation activities.
  • ender management including sourcing of materials and contract negotiation with key suppliers to ensure value for money.
  • Manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on the ability to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop an overall vendor base that creates and sustains competitive advantage, utilizing global market exploitation and leveraging technologies.
  • Processing purchase orders, ensuring quality compliance and delivery schedules.
  • Meet/exceed your company work targets while maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on market trends and client feedback to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in business development, or a similar role within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Must be a female and single
  • Strong understanding of the procurement industry, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and excellent presentation skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 monthly(Not more than N250,000 gross, depending on your experience).
