Job Description

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for growth.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and establish relationships with new clients and partners to expand the company’s market presence.
- Sales Goals: Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Relationship Management: Manage and nurture high-level relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure cohesive and effective business development efforts.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to the Managing Director, detailing progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years in a business development role, preferably within the manufacturing or paper industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and flexible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
N500,000 – N800,000 / Month.
