We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Service Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, high quality customer service to customers who are value long term relationships and buy customized processes and solutions
  • Be the first point of contact for all queries and will be responsible for booking, planning of Shipments as per customer SOP, resolution of customer queries, service issues as well as follow –up on outstanding
  • Booking and Planning with vendors/ shippers.
  • Query Resolution with shippers/ Customers/ Key Account Managers- ensure timely resolution and response to customers. • Follow up on the Outstanding bookings & query resolution.
  • Service delivery wins.
  • Work with the KAMs/ Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Manage stakeholders for efficient process.
  • Be responsible for preparing & sending the P.O. to the Customer and as well as the proactive and appropriate resolution of issues related to P.O. & Booking management
  • Maintaining customer retention and identifying cross sell/up sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Male or Female
  • Bachelor degree in Logistics or related field
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to details.
  • Strong negotiation skills very important
  • Analytical thinking and senses of urgency.
  • 3-5 years of experience and understanding of logistics field
  • Good command of English
