Job Title: Dance Teacher / Choreographer

About the Role
- We are seeking a creative, energetic, and passionate Dance Instructor/Choreographer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will work with young children, introducing them to the joy of dance through fun, structured, and age-appropriate activities.
- You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, preparing choreography for school performances, and nurturing each child’s confidence, coordination, and love for movement in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver exciting dance classes for children ages 3–6 years.
- Choreograph routines for school productions, assemblies, and special events.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among pupils.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with child protection and safeguarding policies.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with children, parents, and staff.
- Contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
Requirements
- A background in Dance, Choreography, or Performing Arts.
- Experience teaching or working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Commitment to child protection, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of children.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply due to the age group and nature of the role.
Desirable:
- Certification or training in early years education, child development, or performing arts.
- Familiarity with different dance styles (ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, traditional, etc.).
Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 monthly.
