PreDiagnosis International is a Non-Governmental Organization whose objective is to deliver health care programs and services to address the gap in the health sector. Our major role is the maintenance, improvement of health through prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries and other physical impairment in people who are vulnerable to diabetes, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia. Our mission is to rescue 5 million vulnerable Nigerians by the year 2025.

Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Location:Â Nyanya, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Operating imaging equipment, and reviewing images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
- Identifying normal and abnormal imaging results, communicating a summary of the results to physicians or other health professionals, and alerting physicians to urgent problems
- Preparing patients for procedures and educating patients throughout the ultrasound exam
- Reviewing patient medical history, recording imaging results in patient records, and coordinating care with various departments within the hospital or clinic
- Uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of many parts of the body, known as ultrasounds.
- Acquire and analyze sonographic images.
- Conduct and interpret initial imaging tests that may help narrow down a patient’s diagnosis and quickly get them the care they need.
Requirements, Skills and Abilities
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Anatomy
- Specializes in the varietiesof imaging
- Precision attention to imaging protocols
- Interpersonal skills and details-oriented
- Candidates should be residing within Nyanya and environ.
