Job Overview

  • The Digital Marketer is responsible for developing and executing online marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive conversions.
  • This role focuses on utilizing various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, to meet the company’s marketing objectives.
  • The Digital Marketer will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure alignment with the overall marketing goals.

Core Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to increase online visibility, website traffic, and lead generation.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage all company social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and others.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO to optimize the company’s website and blog for search engine rankings.

Paid Advertising Campaigns (PPC):

  • Plan, implement, and monitor PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and others to drive targeted traffic and improve conversions.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging content for blogs, social media, and website updates that align with marketing strategies.

Email Marketing:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote services, and increase customer engagement.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Analyze campaign performance metrics using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.), adjusting strategies based on insights and preparing regular reports on digital marketing performance.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Marketing Team, Content Creators, Sales Team, IT/Development Team
  • External: Digital agencies, Advertising platforms, Influencers, Freelancers.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, SEO, or PPC advertising.
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and CRM platforms.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, social media management, and email marketing techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret digital marketing data to optimize campaigns.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Highly creative with the ability to think strategically.
  • Adaptability to the fast-paced and constantly evolving digital marketing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or SEO are an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
