Job Description
- The Driver at Yardoak will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, components, and finished products to various locations, as well as supporting internal logistics within the factory.
- The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport materials, furniture components, and finished products to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate lifting and handling techniques, ensuring that products are securely strapped and protected during transportation.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, while also considering factors such as traffic conditions and customer delivery schedules.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, checking for any mechanical issues or damage and reporting them promptly to the maintenance department.
- Assist with internal logistics within the factory, including moving materials between production areas, organizing inventory in the warehouse, and supporting other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver.
Salary
N70,000 / Month.
