Job Description
- We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our team and lead the research and production of innovative clothing lines that align with current market trends.
- As a Fashion Designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to travel to fashion events, analyze market data, and identify emerging fashion trends.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines and create new concepts
- Ensure products are in agreement with business strategy
- Select fabrics and trims
- Create production sketches for development packages
- Collaborate with a technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate
- Superior knowledge of fashion design principles
- Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
- In-depth knowledge of garment technology
- Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns
- Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accomodation is available
Requirements and Skills
- Candidates should possess an SSCE certificate with 2-5 years experience.
- Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to use industrial Machines
- Ability to do sketches by hand
- Excellent design and conceptual skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fashion Designer.
Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 / Month plus accommodation and other benefits.
