Job Description
- The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and operations of the organization.
- This includes managing the company’s financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- The Financial Manager works closely with the executive team to provide strategic financial guidance and decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide detailed financial reports to management
- Manage the company’s cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure the company maintains compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with overall business objectives
- Manage the finance team and delegate tasks as needed
- Identify risks and recommend strategies to mitigate financial exposure
- Represent the company’s financial interests in dealings with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ICAN or ACA is mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in a senior financial management role
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
- Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
