Job Summary
- We are looking for a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our academic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students how to read, write, and speak the French language while fostering an appreciation of French culture.
- You will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and promote active learning in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured French lessons for different student levels.
- Develop teaching materials, activities, and assessments that meet curriculum standards.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, conversation, reading, and writing in French.
- Encourage active participation through group work, discussions, and interactive games.
- Assess and track student performance, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as French clubs, language fairs, and cultural events.
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff development, meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in French, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Experience teaching French at primary, secondary, or post-secondary levels is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online platforms is an added advantage.
