We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head Content Editor / Football Content Lead
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation and planning of football-related content for Nigerian sports fans (focus on EPL, NPFL, betting topics)
- Define the weekly content calendar across Twitter (X), Facebook, Telegram, and short video platforms
- Supervise writers and ensure consistency in tone, language, and messaging
- Collaborate with designers/editors to produce graphics and videos
- Integrate betting angles (odds, predictions, bonuses) into content naturally
- Analyze post-performance and iterate on content strategy.
Requirements
- Deep passion for football, especially English Premier League and African football culture
- Solid experience in content planning or editorial work (2+ years)
- Strong copywriting skills in English, with a tone that appeals to Nigerian youth
- Knowledge of online sports betting is a big plus
- Familiarity with Telegram, Twitter/X, and Facebook trends
- Ability to manage remote teams and work with creative freelancers
- Must be online and easy to contact within and during working hours
- Must have a computer processor intel i5 or equivalent, RAM 8gb and 10mbps stable internet connection for work
- Minimal to no power outage in your area
- Preferred but not required: Personal football page or content samples.
Salary
USD 1,000 – USD 1,500 per month (N1,534,750.00 – N2,302,125.00 per month).
