Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production to lead our Sodium Silicate Plant.
- This key leadership role requires a professional with a strong background in chemical production, particularly in sodium silicate manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Manage and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement production strategies to optimize output and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production KPIs and report to senior management.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the chemical manufacturing industry, with specific experience in sodium silicate production preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
Salary
N800,000 – N1,000,000 / Month.
