Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a HR/Legal and Compliance Officer at The HR / Legal and Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring HR policy compliance, regulatory compliance, monitoring legal and regulatory changes, conducting internal audits, and providing legal guidance to the organization.
- They will also be involved in contract review, drafting and negotiating agreements, and handling legal disputes and litigation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Legal and Compliance Officer position should possess the following qualifications:
- Law degree or a related field
- Relevant certifications in HRM/legal and compliance are a plus
- 5 years Post Call to Bar experience
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in Human Resource Management
- Experience in compliance management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
