Job Summary
- We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR/Recruitment Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing our recruitment processes, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent in the construction industry.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, manage candidate relationships, and maintain high standards of HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Management:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled construction workers.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Candidate Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Provide timely and effective communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
HR Support:
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Compliance:
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and best practices in recruitment.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in HR or recruitment, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successful recruitment campaigns and talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
