Job Description
- We are hiring a Legal Officer for our client in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements while providing legal guidance on business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare compliance documentation in line with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulatory authorities.
- Review all legal documents before signing and implementation.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel when necessary.
Requirements
- LLB from a recognized and accredited university.
- 5-6 years of legal experience in corporate or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate and regulatory laws.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Salary
N300,000 per month.
