Pop Snax is an international snack brand bringing bold, rare, and exciting snacks from around the world to curious taste buds. As we expand into new markets, we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and internet-savvy Marketing & Product Assistant to help us grow our product catalog and marketing efforts across multiple online platforms.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marketing & Product Assistant
Location: Remote – Nigeria
Employment Type: Part-time
Hours: 10–15 hours/week (with potential to grow)
Responsibilities
- Lead product upload efforts across online marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and others)
- Research product details including flavor descriptions, origin information, and tags
- Upload product images and/or videos with optimized formatting
- Write clear, catchy, SEO-friendly product titles and descriptions (templates provided)
- Ensure proper categorization and use of appropriate tags, keywords, and variations
- Audit listings regularly to ensure consistency and correct errors
- Research competitors for pricing, product trends, and marketing opportunities
- Post AI-generated blog content to the website and optimize for SEO 1-2x per week
- Summarize competitor trends and social media opportunities for brand improvement
- Suggest ideas for improving product listings, marketing, and growth efficiency
Requirements
- Based in Nigeria with consistent, high-speed internet access
- Strong written English skills and ability to follow brand tone and formatting
- Reliable, self-motivated, and highly organized
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon, or other e-commerce platforms is highly preferred
- Comfortable working with Google Sheets, Canva, basic AI writing tools, and conducting online research
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Available for weekly check-ins and responsive during agreed working hours
- Must have at least 2–3 hours of availability during Central Time (Texas), between 9 AM–3 PM CT (3 PM–9 PM WAT)
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
- Experience with Canva or other basic design tools
- Experience using ChatGPT or other basic AI tools for content support
- Interest in snacks, consumer products, or digital marketing
Additional Notes:
- The position will begin with a paid two-week trial period to assess fit and performance
- Candidate must maintain confidentiality regarding business operations and customer data
- Must have access to a working laptop, high-speed internet, and ideally a mobile hotspot backup
