Job Title: Motion Graphics Tutor (Remote)
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Description
- Helps students develop the skills and knowledge to create visually engaging motion graphics. Their duties can be broken down into two main areas: instruction and support.
Instruction:
- Develop and deliver curriculum on motion graphics principles, including animation, design, and software usage. This could involve creating lesson plans, presentations, and assignments.
- Explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way, tailoring their approach to different learning styles.
- Introduce students to industry-standard software used in motion graphics, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.
- Guide students through the creative process, from brainstorming ideas to storyboarding and final production.
Support:
- Provide individualized feedback on student work, helping them identify areas for improvement and refine their skills.
- Answer questions and troubleshoot technical difficulties students encounter with software or workflows.
- Offer guidance on building a strong portfolio and navigating potential career paths in motion graphics.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics to ensure their curriculum reflects current industry practices.
In addition to these core responsibilities, a Motion Graphics Tutor may also:
- Help students prepare for industry certifications or portfolio reviews.
- Organize workshops or guest lectures from professional motion graphics designers.
Salary
N50,000 – N100,000 / month.
