Summary

- Responsible for managing the receipt, storage and local shipping of parts.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for managing local purchases and local vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of plants both in our customers’ sites.
- Liaise with customers in proffering solutions to their plant problems.
- Ensure that suitable spare parts are always used.
- Provide support for Field Service Engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure close monitoring of engine performance and respond promptly to any irregularities to prevent unnecessary shutdowns.
- Ensure all required technical / e-training program assigned are achieved at due time.
Required Qualification and Experience
- OND or City & Guilds finals in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3 years’ experience in a service or other Engineering organizations
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Good knowledge of Power Generation systems
- High customer-orientation, efficient and target-oriented way of working
- High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, dynamism, responsibility and ownership of tasks
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Basic level of computer skills including MS Word and Excel
