About the Role
- We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our bakery and eatery in Lekki Phase 1.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and able to produce high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts that meet our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, cookies, and specialty items.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that align with our brand’s style.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all pastry items.
- Ensure the workstation and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Manage ingredient inventory, minimize waste, and assist in stock ordering.
- Supervise baking assistants or kitchen support staff when required.
- Meet daily production targets and ensure timely preparation for service and orders.
- Work closely with management to improve product offerings and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a professional kitchen or bakery.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and recipe scaling.
- Ability to decorate cakes and desserts creatively and neatly.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
- Culinary certification or training in baking/pastry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Resides within or can easily commute to Lekki Phase 1 or nearby areas.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
