Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description:
- Responsible for Vendors Registration
- Engage in raising quotations, quotation analysis, preparing the tender and procurement documents.
- Maintaining good Vendor relations
- Participate in opening of tenders, quotations and evaluation.
- Draft of procurement plans.
- Draft framework agreements for suppliers when required.
- Updating procurement status report.
- Review and analyse bids receive.
- Provision of support to logistics department when required
- Reconcile and route invoices
- Follow-up of invoices: payment method and term.
- Liaise with operations department for verification of technical requirements
- Monitor of internal audits, external and re-certification of ISO
- Create policies and procedures for procurement systems
- Storage and control of various procurement documents including quotations, minutes and contracts
- Taking minutes of departmental meetings
- Expediting delivery of goods,
- Provide follow up on order status and communicate status to clients verbally or via email.
- Manage supplier database for accurate price and commodity disposition status.
- Interact with suppliers to ensure high quality, competitive cost and on time delivery by utilizing RFI, RFP and RFQ.
- Send out RFQ’s and follow up with vendor.
Requirements:
- B.Sc in Engineering, B.Sc in Supply Chain Management or other related courses
- 1 to 2 years of Practical experience in Procurement
- Must be a resident in Port Harcourt

Salary:
N120,000 – N150,000 monthly.
