- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our client’s fashion house team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing all aspects of our tailoring operations, ensuring exceptional workmanship and timely production of our garments.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Leadership: Effectively coordinate a team of tailors to meet production targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain a robust quality control system to ensure garments meet exact specifications and are error-free.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to tailors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
- Team Management: Motivate and inspire your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Performance Management: Implement a fair and effective performance management system for tailors, providing constructive feedback and coaching for growth.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline tailoring processes to ensure smooth workflow and maximize productivity.
- Billing & Administration: Oversee the billing process for tailors and maintain accurate records.
- Safety & Well-being: Proactively ensure a safe and healthy work environment for your team, prioritizing their well-being.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a skilled tailor in a fashion house environment.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing a team of tailors.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and tailoring best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate effectively and guide a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
