- We vare seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Quarry/Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our quarry operations, ensuring we meet and exceed production targets while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage all quarry operations, including blasting, excavation, crushing, screening, and stockpiling.
- Develop and implement efficient production plans that optimize resource utilization and meet quality control standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Oversee maintenance schedules and manage relationships with equipment vendors.
- Build and motivate a highly skilled and engaged team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage operational budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 10years of proven experience in the Quarry industry, with a strong track record of success in managing complex operations.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of quarrying, including blasting techniques, material handling, crushing and screening processes.
- A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Budget management experience and a keen understanding of business acumen.
- A valid blasting license and proficiency in relevant quarry management software (a plus).
