Job Title: Research and Grant Officer

Responsibilities
- Researching, collecting, and compiling information from various sources.
- Maintaining and updating quantitative and qualitative economic, financial, or statistical databases.
- Processing, consolidating, and transforming data sets within and between databases using statistical and/or econometric techniques.
- Evaluating economic, financial, or statistical relationships within databases.
- Analyzing economic time series data.
- Designing systems to facilitate interfaces or transfer data between external and in-house databases.
- Identifying and researching potential grant opportunities.
- Preparing and submitting grant proposals, applications, and reports.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
- Design and develop programs and curricula that align with the organisation’s objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or Business Administration. (Candidates with advanced degrees in relevant fields may be considered with limited combined professional experience).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software and database management.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Experience in grant writing and grant management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Payment
NGN50,000 – NGN70,000 monthly.
