Job Title: Sales and Travel Agency Specialist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The company is seeking to hire an experienced sales & travel agency specialist who will be responsible for ensuring daily operational management of the agency, sales targets, and development, staffing, and financial management and will be responsible for the overall performance of the company.
  • You will also lead and overseethe employees’ workto ensure everyone delivers the expected results.
  • The ideal candidate will be a professional who will ensure the efficiency of business operations and the attainment of operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement business plans and strategies for the agency based on pre-discussed KPIs.
  • Increase sales and manage costs to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and improve service.
  • Lead staff set targets, and motivate teams.
  • Build strong relationships with travel vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyze data and track performance for data-driven decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent.
  • Acquire, develop, and manage corporate accounts.
  • Build strong customer relationships for client retention.
  • Develop proposals, identify advantages, plan sales strategies, and create new business opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, collect payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Track sales, revenue, customer needs, and market trends through weekly reports.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments for synergy.
  • Attend events, learn best practices, and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Weekly and Monthly sales targets willbe discussed with the MD/CEO.

Requirements

  • Degree in Management, Business Studies, or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, Travel Consultant, and Agency manager.
  • Highly motivated, vibrant, productive, result-oriented, and target-driven with a proven track record in sales and agency management
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of marketing techniques is highly preferred; you need to find ways to market our business better
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Team management, leadership, and organization skills
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems

Benefits
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly. (Highly Negotiable).
