Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol premises regularly to ensure a secure and safe environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Control access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related activities.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches and report findings to management.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
- Stay informed about current security trends and updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
