Job Title: Senior Frontend Ember.js Developer

Job Summary
- Be part of the development of a fast-growing online gambling platform focused on delivering seamless, secure, and engaging digital experiences.
- We are seeking a Senior Frontend Ember.js Developer — a true expert in Ember.js — to architect and build high-performance, real-time web applications critical to gaming operations.
- You will work remotely within an international engineering team, developing responsive, scalable, and secure user-facing features.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Ember.js
- Build high-performance, low-latency user interfaces for gaming applications
- Integrate with real-time APIs and data streams
- Implement responsive designs that perform across devices and browsers
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
- Conduct thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers
- Ensure frontend security, including secure session management and data validation
- Participate in code reviews and technical leadership discussions
- Drive technical excellence and innovation within the frontend team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred (or proven equivalent through real-world projects)
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 3+ years specialized in Ember.js
- Prior experience working remotely in international teams
- Proven ability to deliver on full-cycle projects (concept to production release).
Core Skills Required:
- Mastery of Ember.js (advanced components, services, state management, routing)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Deep understanding of real-time web technologies (e.g., WebSockets, SSE)
- Integration expertise with RESTful and WebSocket APIs
- Strong grounding in frontend security best practices
- Solid experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
- Proficiency with Git for version control and branching strategies
- Proven ability to write and maintain automated tests (QUnit, Ember CLI Mirage)
- Agile/Scrum experience in remote, distributed teams.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Typescript in Ember.js environments
- Familiarity with Micro-Frontend Architectures
- Understanding of JWT authentication and secure session handling
- Experience with frontend performance optimization for real-time applications
- Prior experience in gambling, betting, or gaming platforms
- Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Rollup.
Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
- JavaScript, Frontend Development, or Secure Web Development certifications
- Agile/Scrum certifications.

Salary
N800,000 – N1,000,000 Monthly.
