Job Title: Senior HR Officer

Reporting to: Head – Human Resources & Operations
Job Summary
- To support the Human Resources /Operations department of the company, interrelating with all units and departments, whilst strategically aligning with the goals and objective of the business with a customer satisfaction and business growth mindset.
Responsibilities
Strategic Tasks:
- Work with Snr. Business stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of their objectives and challenges, providing strategic guidance from the HR management point of view to drive business success.
- Offer insights and solutions to management that enhance employee performance, employee engagement, employee performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Develop business relationships from own network or new partnerships
- Analyze business trends and metrics and proffer advice and solutions to management as it relates to the Human Resources department.
- Working with team leads of every department to ensure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives.
- Work with management to develop and implement effective HR Policies.
- Be the champion of change management in the system.
- Work with the business development team in providing direction to prospective and profitable clients through excellent research, or own network.
- Develop, review and treat Service Level Agreements, Contracts, Tenders, BIDs and RFQs , RFIs, RFPs for HR projects, in conjunction with other team members.
Client’s Manpower Recruitment and Management:
- Research and Implement outsourced talent management strategies, including vendor selection, onboarding processes, training coordination, and initiatives which ensures effective and seamless outsourcing partnerships.
- Work with HOD to identify outsourcing needs and facilitate workforce planning for external talent requirements.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition department in ensuring all manpower personnel requests are responded to within the agreed time frame.
- Performance Management and Employee Engagement
- Work with HOD to drive the performance management process.
- Work with the Training and development Department to provide on-the-job trainings and coaching to junior / less-performing team members.
- Work in tandem with the Admin Department.
- Suggest and Implement initiatives to enhance in-house employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Work with Training and development department to develop training plans for employees based on the outcome of performance evaluations and work output
- Oversee the company’s relationship with our HMO.
HR Policy Implementation:
- Work with the line director to develop the existing Human Resources Policy manual to reflect new changes and policies in the Nigerian Labour Law.
- Enforce adherence to the provisions contained in the document
- Work with the rest of the HR team to champion a culture of ownership and excellence, where every team member is inspired to deliver results at all times.
Payroll Management:
- Develop variation and compute payroll for internal employees.
- Process and Compute payroll for onward submission to finance for all manpower outsourced staff.
Reporting:
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on HR-related activities and metrics for management review.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc / M.Sc Degree with 5 – 10 years experience.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
