Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager – Alternative Energy / Solar Power / Inverters
Location:Â Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Details:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
Sales Management:
- Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotions.
- Measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Development and Positioning:
- Collaborate with the product development team to align products with market needs.
- Position products effectively to maximize market penetration.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget.
- Monitor and control expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on key performance metrics.
- Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing and sales outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- BSc/HND Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and sales management.
- Proven track record in the alternative/green energy sector.
Skills / Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing tools.
Key Attributes:
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
