About the Role
- We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- This position requires strong client engagement skills, excellent candidate sourcing abilities, and a proactive approach to recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
- Provide clients with market insights, salary information, and recruitment trends to assist in their decision-making process.
- Nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and understanding their evolving needs.
Job Analysis:
- Analyze and dissect job descriptions to identify key qualifications and skills necessary for each position.
Candidate Sourcing:
- Source potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Screening and Interviews:
- Conduct candidate interviews, assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, and present qualified candidates to clients.
Candidate Assessment:
- Evaluate candidates’ resumes, portfolios, and references to determine their suitability for specific roles.
- Prepare and present candidate profiles and summaries to clients, highlighting key qualifications and experience.
Negotiation and Offer Management:
- Facilitate salary and benefit negotiations between clients and candidates.
- Coordinate and manage job offers, ensuring that all parties are aligned on terms and conditions.
Onboarding Support:
- Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for candidates into their new roles.
Market Research and Compliance:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and talent market dynamics.
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to legal and ethical standards, including anti-discrimination and data privacy regulations.
Performance Metrics and Database Management:
- Track and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized candidate database for future reference and networking.
Continuous Learning and Market Expansion:
- Keep up to date with best practices in recruitment and attend training and development programs as necessary.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base and increase business revenue.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to build a strong professional network.
Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and trends for internal and client review.
What we are looking for
- First Degree in a relevant course of study, certification is a plus.
- 3 – 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to be part of a startup.
- Ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
