Job Title: Team Lead, Business Reconciliation

Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operations reconciliation team, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial and operational data through effective reconciliation processes.
- He/she will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, process optimization, team leadership, and collaboration across departments.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the operations reconciliation functions.
- Collaborate with Paymate management to align reconciliation goals with overall Business objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing reconciliation results and provide insights to senior management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Operations Reconciliations Officers.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Process Management:
- Oversee the daily, monthly, and annual reconciliation processes for financial and operational accounts on behalf of the Paymate business.
- Ensure adherence to standardized reconciliation procedures and implement improvements for efficiency.
Promote Collaboration:
- Collaborate with operations, finance, product management and the data analysis team to obtain necessary information for reconciliation purposes.
- Establish effective communication channels to promptly address and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and external regulations related to financial data recognition.
- Stay informed about changes in standards and regulations impacting reconciliation processes.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess risks associated with reconciliation processes in Paymate.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize errors and discrepancies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement in reconciliation procedures, within the Paymate business and other groups or departments.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline reconciliation processes and increase accuracy.

- Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills in reconciliation processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and disseminate knowledge within the team.
Educational Qualification and Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
Experience:
- 4 – 5 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in reconciliation processes within an operations or financial setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data analytic software applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
