Job Brief
- Our client is looking for a well experienced and self-driven individual to join their team in a Terminal Manager position.
- The role reports to the Head of Shuttle and responsible for coordinating daily terminal operations.
- They are required to manage operations effectively and efficiently and to consistently ensure accurate reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Terminal Manager job description should contain a variety of functions and roles including:
- Oversee and direct dispatching activities, such as routing, tracking and scheduling transportation vehicles.
- Resume work by 6pm and no later than 8pm.
- Coordinate daily terminal operations in conjunction with Head of logistics as the case maybe
- Meeting passengers and customers to deal with complaints and areas of concern;
- Ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with laws and regulations, particularly relating to health and safety;
- Managing and supervising staff, organizing work shift rotas and coordinating staff training;
- Monitor the sales of ticket and ensure that accurate ticket proceeds are rendered daily
- Ensure the passenger monthly target are achieved by marketing and remarketing the remarketing the terminal to prospective customers
- Ensure daily cash lodgment into the company approved bank account
- Certify buses on boarding facilities before boarding passengers
- Writing clear reports and presenting options and recommendations to clients and senior management;
- Strictly comply and ensure that all staff comply with zero fraud policy
- Minimizing disruption and resolving any unscheduled delays, having to make decisions in difficult situations.

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- HND / B.Sc in Business Studies or Management, Transport Planning and Management or any other related course
- Experience Level: Mid-level
- Experience Length: 4 years and above
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and motivational skills
- Flexible approach to work as operational roles often involves working shifts and weekends
- Understanding of the transport sector
- A driving license.
- Organizational, planning and time-management skills
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to think logically and make quick decisions
Salary
N120, 000- 150,000 / month.
