Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in Port Harcourt and its surrounding areas.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s customer base within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and enrollee acquisition targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, SMEs, and individual subscribers.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and complaints to maintain excellent service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote IHMS services.
- Train and mentor sales team members within the territory, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare, HMO, or insurance industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with the South-South and South East market and its dynamics is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare services and HMO operations is an advantage.
Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 per month.
