Job Summary
- Are you a proactive, adaptable, and tech-savvy individual with a passion for ensuring uninterrupted broadcasting experiences? We are actively seeking a talented Transmission and Broadcast Executive to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our broadcast channels and ensuring a seamless transmission process, even during night shifts and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day transmission operations, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted broadcasting.
- Monitor transmission schedules to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of content.
- Utilize IT skills to troubleshoot and address technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize scheduling for smooth transitions between programs.
- Manage and maintain broadcast equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues to minimize disruptions.
- Actively engage in putting on the generator when needed to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Devise and implement strategies to ensure channels remain operational and do not go off-air.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with production, engineering, and content creation departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Proactiveness and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- IT skills, including proficiency in computer hardware and software repair.
- Availability for night shifts and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N45,000 – N55,000 per month.
