Job Title: Deck Crew – Rigging and Lifting Inspector
Location: Warri, Delta

Description
- The Deck Crew – Rigging and Lifting Inspector will be responsible for overseeing the rigging and lifting operations on-site, ensuring safe and efficient execution of lifting activities in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- The role requires a deep understanding of rigging techniques, lift planning, and equipment handling, with an emphasis on critical and ODC (Out of Gauge Cargo) lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, inspect, and provide technical support for rigging and lifting operations, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Prepare detailed lift plans for complex and critical lifts, including ODC lifting.
- Coach and certify riggers, signalmen, and supervisors, ensuring they meet industry safety and operational standards.
- Carry out Inspections in line with current legislation and company requirements.
- Enter the required data into our cloud-based inspection software.
- Compile certificates and create inspection reports for clients.
- Recommend remedial works to clients, when required.
- Advise clients on their legal requirements in relation to Lifting Equipment.
- Assist the Inspection team with the planning and booking of inspections.
- Assist with the inspection and maintenance of all equipment owned by Rigging Team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment by following all relevant company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and rigging gear, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
- Ensure compliance with relevant lifting and safety regulations (LOLER, LEEA, OPITO, etc.).
- Provide technical guidance on lifting methods and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- This position demands a highly skilled professional with a solid understanding of rigging and lifting operations, a focus on safety, and the ability to train and certify personnel involved in lifting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, HSE, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Three (3) years prior Offshore experience within the Oil and Gas Industry
- Certification in Lifting and Rigging Operations.
- Extensive experience in rigging and lifting operations, with a focus on offshore operations.
- Profound knowledge of FPSO operations, including safety and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for planning and documentation.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in offshore environments.
- Safety certification (Bosiet, Opito).
Job Title: Deck Crew – Crane Operator
Location: Warri, Delta

Job Description
- You (Opito stage 2 certified Rigger) will be involved in a heavy lift crane ship operation.
- The vessel will perform complex and challenging heavy lift projects in an offshore facility and you will be part of the experienced deck crew as a rigger you will perform all common activities on deck.
- As an AB/rigger you ensure that all lifting activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Performing rigging and lifting duties;
- Ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues;
- Safe operation of the deck crane;
- Checking of quality and quantity of required equipment;
- Performing maintenance, modification and repairs on the deck and the deck equipment;
- Manipulate rigging lines, hoists and pulling gear to move or support heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- OND, HND, B.Tech or B.Eng.
- Opito Rigger stage 2 is mandatory
- Working on heights
- Experience as a rigger for several years
- Experience in heavy lift crane vessels
- FPSO experience is a MUST.
- International experience in Nigeria, Africa is a plus

Job Title: Deck Crew / Crane Operator
Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary
- The Crane Operator is responsible for supervising, organizing operations related to loading, unloading, and mobilizing drilling equipment and other equipment as well as any odd deck work; he/she shall in addition participate in the physical work.
- The person also has responsibility for the first-line maintenance of cranes and relevant lifting appliances.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all loading and unloading operations of supply vessels, as well as responsibility for all lifting and loading appliances and the daily maintenance of such appliances.
- Responsible for training the deck crew including required operations time for the Assistant Crane Operator.
- Knowledge of authorities and requirement and procedure Safe use of lifting equipment.
- Be familiar with all chemicals being handled onboard.
- Responsible for keeping the pipe deck clean and shall, together with his crew, provide pipe deck assistance when the drilling crew runs casing.
- Responsible for keeping the paint store clean and tidy and that the drill string, when stored, has the required thread protectors at both ends. He is also responsible for inspection and maintenance of straps and shackles and for any ordering of such equipment when required.
- Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to his supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings.
- Carry out or assist in jobs or projects requested by his immediate superior.
- Responsible for safe crane operations and that crane operation is carried out in accordance with procedure: ‘safe use of lifting equipment’.
- Operate equipment within his area of responsibility to ensure that the time for repairs and maintenance is kept to a minimum by complying with valid maintenance procedures.
- Keep the work area, tools and maintenance equipment clean and tidy.

Job Title: Deck Crew – Handyman
Location: Warri, Delta

Responsibilities
- Greasing and cleaning machinery.
- Moving heavy objects around.
- Using various ropes, knots and radio and navigational equipment.
- Assisting during emergencies and effectively using safety equipment.
- Performing general maintenance duties like painting, sweeping and mopping.
- Preparing cabins for crew or passengers.
- Cooking meals.
- Serving food and drink to passengers
- Any other job related responsibility that may be issued to you by your superior

Job Title: Laboratory Technician (1, 2 and 3)

- As a Laboratory Technician, your primary mission will be to conduct and report analyses of various petroleum products, ensuring adherence to the latest ASTM, IP, and UOP standards.
- You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our products and processes by performing accurate tests and maintaining precise records.
- Your expertise will directly contribute to the operational efficiency and compliance of our refinery operations.
Job Description
- Computerized reporting of analysis.
- Testing of gas, crude oil, chemicals, and water using the latest automated laboratory equipment.
- Conducting lab tests on intermediate and finished petroleum products as per the laboratory schedule.
- Ensuring analyses are conducted under the guidance of the latest ASTM, IP, and UOP standards.
- Drawing and analyzing samples from various process units, streams, and tank farms as required by refinery operations.
- Completing training records for newly operated laboratory equipment.
- Maintaining calibration records of laboratory equipment as per SOP.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of all lab and chemical consumables.
- Issuing crude quality certificates
- Maintaining good housekeeping and tidiness in lab premises.
- Ensuring all safety and environmental training is provided and signed off in training records.
- Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly lab reports are complete, accurate, and submitted on time to designated personnel.
- Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
- Identifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel, and the environment.
- Executes samples analysis following analytical plan methods.
- Provides support to operational staff, as required.
- Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
- Prepare daily/weekly analytical reports as per project requirement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Accredited Bachelor of Science Degree Qualification
- Minimum Three (3) years prior Offshore experience within Oil and Gas Industry
- Must have proven experience as a Laboratory Technician.
