Sunlight Resources Limited is a Food & Snack Production company situated at Mushin axis of Nigeria, who has been in business for more 16 years. As a business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went on to design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavors, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp cracker.

Job Title: Van Sales Representative (VSR)

Locations: Oshodi & Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Reports to: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Description 

  • A Van Sales Representative (VSR) must be able to drive daily retail sales with a high level of accuracy and integrity. Must possess the physical agility to drive secondary sales distributing different SKUs from the distributor’s shop to the retail and wholesale outlets while keeping his van in good shape and condition.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Driving a van and selling of products to customers.
  • Delivering purchase orders and informing existing customers of new products.
  • Increasing sales by promoting products and analyzing competitor behavior.
  • Accounting for the safe and timely delivery of purchased products.
  • Maintaining sales and delivery records with reports, as well as meeting sales targets.
  • Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported.
  • Performing basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, and fuel and oil levels.
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities, and time scales.
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
  • Remain up to date with the industry’s best practices.

Job Requirements, Skills & Attitude

  • Candidate must live very close to the location applying for.
  • Valid Driver’s License or Riders Permit.
  • Education Required: SSCE, Trade Test, OND.
  • Proven working experience in open market sales of the local areas
  • Physically fit and healthy.
  • Up-to-date with the latest FMCG trends and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working Days: (Monday to Saturday).

Experience:

  • Minimum Working Experience: Relevant years of experience in retail selling and van for distribution.
