Job Overview

- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles, experience with various technologies, and a knack for creating user-friendly, visually appealing websites.
- You will be responsible for designing, coding, and improving our company’s web presence and online functionality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites using [HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies].
- Build and implement responsive and mobile-first designs to ensure websites perform seamlessly across devices.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
- Ensure the security of websites by implementing best practices and safeguarding user data.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring website functionality remains consistent.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, frameworks, and trends.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or others as required.
- Test website functionality and conduct usability tests to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in SquareSpace.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how to implement them in web development.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience web developer with a proven record of SquareSpace use.
