Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to oversee the daily operations of PEPHLA Wholesale Pharmacy, to drive sales and revenue growth through improving markets, identifying growth opportunities, and building solid relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, facilities, medical institutions, and key stakeholders to achieve the company’s targets.
Managing people is a crucial aspect of the role, which includes supporting the onboarding process for new hires and training and mentoring your team to ensure customer orders are managed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and medical lab stores.
- Build and develop your team to deliver high-performance
- Develop strong relationships with customers and other health professionals
- Ownership and delivery of financial targets for the stores and company.
- Oversee inventory levels, stock rotation, and product storage to minimize discrepancies, avoid shortages, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate imports with logistics partners, negotiate contracts, and optimize transportation and distribution processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- To implement and maintain quality control procedures to uphold product integrity, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and streamline operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Liaise with others such as sales, procurement, and the manager to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operations with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Attend meetings with the CEO-founder.

Qualifications and Requirements;
- The ideal candidate shall possess a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm), be experienced as a professional pharmacist, and preferably in a management role.
- Must have proven post-NYSC working experience (3+ years) in wholesale or distribution within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria with a current practising license.
- Substantial wholesale operations, inventory, logistics, supply chain, and importation knowledge
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with motivation and integrity.
- Must be proficient in relevant software and systems (e.g., inventory management).
- Must understand the regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
