Position Overview
- We are currently seeking a motivated Finance Intern who is looking for a Placement for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Abuja.
- The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in finance and will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Help with the analysis of financial data and trends.
- Assist in processing invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.
- Participate in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be currently available for NYSC and seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
